The F40PH-2 rebuild contract
(Dec. 2007 to 2012 - CAD Railway Services in Montreal (Lachine),QC):

Prototype: 6400 (now wrecked and retired)

Rebuilt and returned to service (June 2011):
From the beginning - in date order:
6400, 6402, 6452, 6457, 6454, 6443, 6417, 6437, 6444, 6436, 6416, 6433, 6406, 6455
Then no order for the following ones:
6401, 6403, 6410, 6411, 6429, 6431, 6432, 6434, 6439, 6442, 6449, 6456 and 6458

Rebuilt in progress (June 2011) - no order:
6407, 6409, 6418, 6438, 6448

Not rebuilt yet (June 2011):
6404, 6405, 6408, 6412, 6413, 6414, 6415, 6419, 6420, 6421, 6424, 6426,

Excluding the prototype units, CAD Raiway Services expects to deliver a locomotive per month.

* VIA 6457: Wrecked in February 2010 and returned to service (March 2011).

** VIA 6445: After the Coors Light Silver Bullet Express promotion ended,
this unit was rewrapped for the Grey Cup Tour and it is scheduled for rebuild in the next months.
